Developed by Dadi’s curriculum team in partnership with the ABCmouse platform, this program offers a flexible and engaging English learning solution during non-school hours. It is ideal for families who value English learning and want their children to benefit from additional immersion opportunities.
Program Objectives and Value
The ABCmouse After-school Program is held outside regular class hours and aims to:
Stimulate children's interest in learning English.
Build confidence through achievement-based learning.
Provide engaging, immersive learning beyond regular school curriculum.
This program is especially suitable for families seeking extra English exposure for their children in a structured and enjoyable way.
Highlighted Course Content
The curriculum covers 34 everyday life themes and 7 major Western holiday topics, such as:
Family, weather, seasons, colors, numbers, travel, professions, and more.
Celebrations like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
All content is closely aligned with children's everyday lives, making language learning natural and relatable. The content library continues to expand, offering students fresh and diverse topics throughout the year.
Teaching Features
Real-life relevance: Content reflects real-life situations to make learning natural.
Structured progression: Lessons are age-appropriate and build knowledge step by step.
Achievable goals: Each lesson sets just-above-current-level targets to motivate students.
Emphasis on expression: Students practice authentic English using the ABCmouse platform.
Flexible Class Schedules
Three scheduling options are available:
1. Weekday After-school Program: Held after school Monday to Friday, 1.5 hours per week
2. Weekend After-school Program: 1.5 hours each weekend; may be combined with other weekend activities
3. Holiday Program: Daily 1.5-hour sessions during winter/summer holidays (e.g., Winter/Summer English Camp)
Recommended weekly format:
Option A (recommended): 3 sessions × 30 minutes
Option B: 1 session × 90 minutes
Option C: 2 sessions × 45 minutes
Each term includes 50 lessons (25 hours total). If students don’t complete the term, they may continue in the next term or during holiday sessions.
